1. 8 inches x 10 inches  and  16 inches  x 20 inches canvas boards  at least 4 each

2. 3 -4 brushes, Filbert Oil Brushes, the sizes to get, number 2, 4 and  a number 6  brush

3. Palette pad

4. Palette knife

5. Mineral spirits (Ordorless Turpenoid, see below)

6. Metal containers for mineral spirits and one for medium

7. Plenty of rags

8. Optional: plastic palette pad container

9. Optional: hand wipes for cleaning hands

Medium Recipe

Make up 1 full jar

  • 1:1 Dammar varnish
  • 5:1 Pure gum turpentine
  • 1:1 Stand oil
  • 8-10 drops of Cobalt drier
  • Medium can be played with according to certain effects desired
