Sfumato Studio concepts are an ongoing process as well as a place to explore
and make art. We manifest that which is known to us intuitively and
subconsciously into tangible reality. John and Nancy thru their own
personal development as artist's, also have the ability to pass on

Sfumato Studio opened in 2001 and serves as both playground for experimentation and space for
serious art application. John and Nancy's work places a strong
emphasis on drawing structure and seeing the ordinary in an extraordinary way. Formal
aspects of the craft of painting play a big part in their art. Spacial relationships and
color application are major aspects as
well.
